When I gaze into Your holiness
When I look into your loveliness
When all things that surround become shadows in the light of You
When I find the joy of reaching Your heart
When my will is enthroned in Your love When all things that surround become shadows in light of You.
I worship You
I worship You
The reason I live, is to worship You.
The victory is the Lord’s The victory is the Lord’s We’ve just begun to fight, ooh ooh We’ve just begun to fight, ooh ooh (Repeat)
And when I get discouraged Having done all then I stand He gave us weapons to fight And the Spirit of might I feel the power, the Word of the Lord
Where is the Lord God of Elijah Elohim, my redeemer and my friend Any weapon formed against me will not prosper And His eyes are a flame of fire And His will is my desire
Care package love. if there is a perk to living away from family (well, other than praying for them more), it’s the care package. A surprise in a box, a package of love and thoughtfulness, filled with things that someone thought you would enjoy and love. Oh, I do.
Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
"something I learned about God…complex simplicity…it’s overwhelming.
Recently, there’s this lesson I’ve been learning about love. It’s an interesting lesson.
1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us.”
Learning who someone is…loving them for who they are, who they are created to be, in how God intends them to be. This means, letting them express themselves, in how they express their love…and receiving how that person loves. I guess the act of receiving someone’s love is an act of love as well?
Forgoing your own personal desires, comfortability, tendencies…it’s hard.
Thank God that He receives and gives in all ways and manners, and to meet us and love on us in ways that speak to us in how He’s created us….and in also gently expanding our own concepts to be more encompassing, and loving to others…to respond in grace.
Ever so slowly, things are becoming more clearer, more deep, more expansive, more simple.
Matthew 22:37-40 NIV
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
